Meet Jimmy Economos, Event Producer and Owner of Economos Event Production
Jimmy Economos is an Atlanta-based event producer, AV director, and community builder with more than two decades of experience crafting unforgettable experiences. As the founder of EEP Events, Jimmy leads a full-service production team that supports corporate conferences, university programs, galas, festivals, and civic celebrations across the Southeast. Known for his ability to blend technical expertise with creative vision, he specializes in turnkey audio-visual solutions, live show calling, staging, and sponsor-driven event strategy. From Emory Brain Health symposiums to high-profile corporate meetings to large community festivals, Jimmy is the calm in the storm—translating complex logistics into seamless, engaging experiences for thousands.
A proud Dunwoody native with deep Greek roots, Jimmy has spent nearly 20 years producing and elevating beloved community traditions, including Light Up Dunwoody and the Dunwoody 4th of July Parade. His work is grounded in relationships, trust, and a commitment to making every event feel personal, purposeful, and well-executed. Jimmy is known for reviving struggling events, improving their financial health, and building sponsorship models that turn hometown gatherings into sustainable, high-impact celebrations. Whether he’s running power at sunrise, coordinating a 100-performer stage, or guiding a Fortune 500 client through a live broadcast, Jimmy brings passion, precision, and heart to every project he touches.
Jimmy and his team are without a doubt the best AV and production team in Atlanta. They are so professional and flexible and amazing to work with. Never in my life have I moved a meeting from one location to another during a lunch hour but I did for a recent event and Jimmy and team couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful!
